With 15 retail shops across North Derbyshire, a dedicated Furniture Store, Donation Centre, two bustling Clearance Shops, and two welcoming Coffee Shops, our retail presence continues to grow. We also operate two successful eBay platforms - one for clothing and one for general goods - alongside a fully online furniture shop. Our shops not only raise vital funds, but also create social value by offering volunteering opportunities, affordable goods, and a welcoming space for people in our local communities. It’s a dynamic, fast-paced operation that’s making a real difference every day! Our team at the Clowne Site have a values driven approach and a solid community connection providing much-needed income to the hospice. This is vital to be able to provide care to the people of North Derbyshire.
Job Responsibility:
Run a smooth, high-quality coffee shop operation, managing stock, cash handling, equipment, hygiene, and daily standards
Deliver excellent customer service and drive sales, ensuring products are well presented and targets are met
Lead and support staff and volunteers, creating a positive, well-organised, and motivated team environment
Requirements:
Strong organisational and operational skills, with experience in stock control, cash handling, and administration
Excellent people and customer service skills, with the ability to engage customers and support a diverse team
Good awareness of food hygiene, health & safety, and quality standards, with a proactive, problem-solving approach
