Job Description

We are looking for a Full Time Coffee Shop Manager to join the team in our Coffee Shop in Weaver Vale Garden Centre. Our competitive salary is dependent on experience. The hours for this role are 45 per week over 5 days. All positions include regular weekend working so flexibility is a must. However we have the added benefit of no evening work and no split shifts. Our Centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day which means time with the family on these important days.

Job Responsibility

  • Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to our company standards
  • Presenting menus, serving, and helping customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions
  • Providing Counter Service and preparing beverages including our barista bean to cup Illy coffee
  • Deliver our inhouse prepared meals to customers at their tables
  • Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness
  • Processing payment at electronic till points
  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed
  • Closing front of house areas each day to our company standards.

Requirements

  • Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
  • Barista experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given
  • Strong customer service skills
