Job Description

Our Baristas are responsible for preparing and serving drinks and food items in a warm and inviting manner—even at ridiculously early hours of the day. You must be a natural born people-person. You will be interacting with hotel guests and other patrons all day long so a friendly, outgoing personality is essential. We want you to develop a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and serve drinks and food items in a warm and inviting manner
  • Interact with hotel guests and patrons
  • Develop a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items
  • Relay understanding of coffee and tea regions and the various differences in flavor and blends to customers
  • Take orders and convey them to team members for preparation
  • Maintain inventory by replenishing coffee bean & food supply and stocking brewing equipment

Requirements

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Food Handler’s Permit
  • Previous experience in the food & beverage industry is a definite plus
  • Ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Desire to learn and impact guests in a positive way
