Job Description:

This role combines coffee training, customer partnership and hands-on technical support to help our café partners consistently deliver exceptional coffee. You’ll work closely with the VIC Regional Customer Manager and wholesale team to deliver training programs, strengthen customer relationships and support the ongoing growth of the Allpress brand across Victoria. From running barista workshops and improving café workflows to visiting customers and supporting equipment performance, you’ll play a key role in helping our partners succeed. This is a full-time role based in Melbourne, with regular travel across Victoria and occasional travel interstate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver exceptional coffee training
  • Run Allpress training programs including Perfect Cup, milk workshops and open barista sessions
  • Deliver on-site training for cafés to improve workflow, consistency and service
  • Tailor sessions for everyone from beginner baristas to experienced café owners
  • Identify training opportunities and skill gaps within customer teams
  • Maintain training records, CRM notes and follow-up actions
  • Support seasonal programs and product launches through tastings and training sessions
  • Build strong customer partnerships
  • Visit customers regularly to support their coffee quality and business success
  • Act as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador for Allpress
  • Work closely with the Regional Customer Manager to support customer retention and growth
  • Help cafés identify opportunities through training, new products and retail offerings
  • Support new customer onboarding and change-of-ownership transitions
  • Support equipment and technical performance
  • Diagnose basic machine and grinder issues during training or customer visits
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks and adjustments when required
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure equipment supports coffee quality
  • Help customers maintain best-practice setup and workflow
  • Contribute to regional growth
  • Collaborate with Sales, Technical and Customer Service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Assist with customer events, tastings and brand activations
  • Share insights from the field to support regional strategy and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Strong barista experience with deep specialty coffee knowledge
  • Experience delivering coffee training or mentoring others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence building relationships with café owners and teams
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Ability to travel across Victoria for customer visits and training sessions
