Our client, a healthcare non-profit, is seeking a Part-Time Coding & Reimbursement Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis in Linthicum, Maryland.

Job Responsibility:

  • Triage and respond to coding and reimbursement questions from physicians and practice staff
  • Conduct coding research and prepare concise summaries and recommendations
  • Support CPT and RUC activities, including surveys, data analysis, and background materials
  • Analyze coding data and trends to inform reimbursement decisions
  • Monitor and manage coding and payment policy inboxes
  • Provide expert guidance on urology coding, billing, and claims issues

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience in medical coding and reimbursement
  • Expert-level knowledge of payer policy and claims processes
  • Urology coding experience strongly preferred
