Job Description:

A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings. SEASONAL, PART TIME: 20 hours a week, between the hours of 9am-4pm, M-F. April - Aug. Flexible schedule.

Job Responsibility:

  • Walk/drive community to conduct a list of code and HOA regulation inspections
  • Take pictures, notes, and document findings
  • Submit reports to the GM and Board of Directors
  • Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues
  • Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries
  • Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 1+ year of administrative and customer service experience
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Service driven and team oriented
  • Valid driver's licenses is required
