A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings. SEASONAL, PART TIME: 20 hours a week, between the hours of 9am-4pm, M-F. April - Aug. Flexible schedule.
Job Responsibility:
Walk/drive community to conduct a list of code and HOA regulation inspections
Take pictures, notes, and document findings
Submit reports to the GM and Board of Directors
Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically
Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues
Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries
Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required
1+ year of administrative and customer service experience
Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry and reporting
