Job Description

Role Summary: Implementation of Trade Finance product at customer sites worldwide. Programming, supporting new implementations and post-implementation activities. Software installations, environment creation, and maintenance. Production support, problem analysis & solutions, and day to day interaction with back-office and client technical teams.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Experience in banking systems and experience in trade finance systems - Advantage
  • At least 5 years of experience as a COBOL development - MUST
  • Knowledge in SQL (DB2 /ORACLE/Linux)
  • JAVA – an advantage
  • Experience in CICS, Dockers Containers – Advantage
  • Production support, enhancement and strong incidents solving capabilities
  • Ability to write FSD and HLD as per to client requirements
  • Communication and presentation skills in English is a MUST, other languages are Advantage
  • Excellent customer orientation, decision-making, and an analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach
  • Ideally, insights into banking processes, but necessarily an interest in combining IT and Finance
  • Experience in working in international companies – Advantage
  • Client facing experience, onsite/offsite support - Advantage
  • A team player with an outgoing, positive and customer orientated attitude, a people person
  • Ability to work under pressure and in banking environment handling client’s critical production issues
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex tasks for wider understanding
  • Profound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated personality with a strong work ethic and a “can do”- attitude
