Job Description:

Module Lead position responsible for coding, unit testing, application development/support, bug fixing and delivering tasks as per predefined timelines and quality standards. Requires 04-06 years of experience with primary skills in Cobol, DB2, JCL and VSAM.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for coding, unit testing, application development/support, bug fixing
  • Work on change requests from business
  • Resolution and recovery of assigned issues
  • Analyzes issues to identify service restoration actions
  • Issues investigation and diagnosis
  • Assists with classification and prioritization of Issues
  • Investigates assigned problems through to resolution
  • Analyzing the process and suggesting improvements
  • Keeping affected business partners informed about progress
  • Participate in implementation activities and provide post implementation support
  • Contribute towards updating knowledge assets
  • Document all the learning's from the project
  • Adhere to the Agile Ways of Working

Requirements:

  • 04-06 years of experience
  • Primary Skill Set: Cobol, DB2, JCL and VSAM
  • Secondary Skill: CICS
  • Good knowledge, skill and hands on experience in Mainframe
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Willingness to work in UK or India shift
