Job Description:

Retail clerk position at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne Miami coastal gift shop, responsible for customer service, merchandise display, payment processing, and maintaining shop operations while delivering The Ritz-Carlton's Gold Standards of luxury hospitality service.

Job Responsibility:

Greet customers and offer assistance
Display merchandise in neat, eye-appealing manner
Restock items and check expiration dates
Complete customer purchases and process payments
Maintain cash drawer levels
Follow opening/closing checklists
Secure shop and prevent merchandise theft
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
Assist guests with disabilities
Develop positive working relationships
Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 10 pounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to greet customers and offer assistance
Display merchandise neatly
Restock items and check expiration dates
Complete customer purchases and process payments
Maintain cash drawer levels
Follow opening/closing checklists
Secure shop and monitor customer activity
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Follow company policies
Maintain professional appearance
Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop
Move, lift, or carry objects up to 10 pounds
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
