The role is to work as part of a team supervising 11-17-year-old students waiting and boarding school buses in the afternoon at the Aylesbury Coach Park. The role is wide-ranging from ensuring that coaches leave on time to the safeguarding responsibilities of students that miss their transport. It is hugely rewarding and to the right candidate, the Coach Park Assistant will find it fulfilling and extremely enjoyable whilst at the same time having the satisfaction of delivering a vital service for Buckinghamshire Council.
Job Responsibility:
Supervising 11-17-year-old students waiting and boarding school buses
Ensuring the Health, Safety and Welfare of the students within the coach park
Ensuring that coaches leave on time
Safeguarding responsibilities for students that miss their transport
Ensuring vehicles arrive and depart on time
Reporting incidents of late operation, poor practice and/or student behaviour
Answering student questions relating to their transport
Directing students who miss their coach back to school
Reporting incidents to managers and school staff
Returning lost property to schools
Requirements:
Available Monday to Friday – Term Time Only – 3.30pm to 4.30 pm
Subject to an enhanced DBS check
