The Sturm College of Law seeks to hire part-time (hourly, non-benefited) Coaches to advance the DU Bar Success Program through coaching, working with bar takers, law students, and recent graduates as they prepare for bar exams. This is an hourly, non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Job Responsibility:
Work closely with and support the Program Director and Assistant Director
Meet routinely with students and graduates to coach through bar exam preparation
Track individual meetings, document bar studier learning progress, and other information relevant to bar coaching
If desired, proctor mock bar exams with a physical presence at the law school
Requirements:
A JD or equivalent legal degree
Outstanding written and oral communications skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and providing comments on word documents
Licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction
Nice to have:
Experience in higher education, teaching, instructional design, cognitive science, counseling, and affiliated fields
Licensed to practice law in Colorado
