As a Studer Education Coach, you will partner with education organizations to establish, accelerate, and hardwire the necessary changes that cultivate a culture of organizational excellence. Studer Education Coaches collaborate with executive leaders, boards, and teams of established and emerging leaders to align goals, behaviors, and processes. Our coaches focus their efforts on: Strategic Alignment: Ensuring all leadership practices and organizational processes are focused on strategic priorities. Consistency: Creating organizational alignment and consistency of leadership practices across all levels. Outcomes: Applying Studer Education tools and tactics to help leaders effectively lead their teams and move results, ultimately achieving and sustaining organizational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Engage with executive leadership teams and boards of education
Facilitate highly engaging coaching in-person and using video conferencing tools
Demonstrate an understanding of coaching competencies in the following areas: Systems improvement, strategic planning and goal setting, leadership evaluation, leadership development, aligned/prescriptive strategic actions and process improvement/accountability systems
Ensure client implementation and understanding of Studer Education leadership tactics by setting clear expectations for success and developing/implementing a sequenced work plan
Drive the successful renewal and expansion of our client portfolio by ensuring client achieve measurable, sustained results
Provide professional high-quality, timely communication to clients
Build and cultivate high-trust relationships with clients and the Studer Education team
Contribute to the Studer Education team by providing intellectual capital and building an education research and development network
Assist Studer Education in advancing and growing in the field (e.g. conference presentations, authoring articles)
Share coaching skills and lessons learned with Studer Education team
Requirements:
Strong leadership experience in K12 or higher education
Minimum leadership experience: serve as an executive leader in K12 or higher education institution or experience consulting with executive leaders
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% of time
Nice to have:
Experience with Malcolm Baldrige or other organizational excellence criteria
Ability to be adaptable and flexible to client needs
Ability to read and write English proficiently
Ability to structure client approach strategically
Ability to provide excellent client service
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to independently organize workload to provide reliable follow-through and meet timelines/deadlines
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels in an organization but especially with the senior executives and boards
Ability to develop a full understanding of Studer Education practices and tools with the ability to communicate them effectively to support client growth
