About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, manufacture, and maintenance of Brisbane City Council's fleet of coaches and buses. Key responsibilities include: Structural & Body Maintenance Painting and General Refurbishment Collaborating with Trade Assistants and Apprentices Modifying Heavy Vehicles and Buses Fabrication and Welding Tasks Assembly According to Technical Specifications Maintaining a Safe Working Area at All Times Key Requirements: Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations OR Certificate III in Automotive (Vehicle Body - Building). Proven experience in bus or coach bodybuilding. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Strong commitment to teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines.
