The CO2 & Decarbonisation Specialist supports Sustainable Operations (Environmental pillar) by owning the day-to-day CO2/energy data collection and consolidation, supporting the decarbonisation programme execution, and preparing core inputs for climate disclosures and external frameworks. The role ensures that emissions and energy data are consistent, traceable, and aligned across CSRD/ESRS reporting and key questionnaires (CDP, EcoVadis) while supporting the transition plan development for reporting. The role reports to Group Environmental Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate Group-wide CO2 and energy data gathering across subsidiaries (owners, timelines, evidence packs)
Consolidate and validate Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions and energy datasets (QA/QC, consistency checks, audit trail)
Support the decarbonisation initiative pipeline: register, CO2 impact quantification, progress tracking, management updates
Prepare climate inputs for external frameworks and submissions (SBTi, CDP, EcoVadis) and investor/customer questionnaires
Support development of the CSRD climate transition plan: targets, levers, governance linkage
Support energy management stream (ISO 50001) as a process/implementation support role (non-auditor)
Research industry best practices and regulatory updates related to ESG
Assist in ESG data collection, validation, and reporting processes
Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and disclosures
Requirements:
University degree in Energy/Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Industrial Engineering, or similar
0–2 years experience (internship/graduate role acceptable) with GHG/emissions and/or energy data
Basic understanding of Scope 1, 2 & 3 accounting and willingness to learn Group methodology and controls
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate with multiple subsidiaries and follow structured timelines for data delivery
Professional English and Czech proficiency (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel to subsidiaries when needed
