Job Responsibility:
Ensure global people policies and standards (e.g., Code of Conduct, co worker relations principles) are supported by management and consistently implemented across the country
Build and maintain open dialogue with co workers, their associations, and unions to support effective negotiations
Lead the development, implementation, and follow up of country HR policies and procedures in line with employment laws
Provide expertise to strengthen leadership capabilities in co worker relations, behaviours, and trust
Lead the I Share process at the country level
Lead and improve the problem resolution process, ensuring consistent execution, follow up, and root cause analysis
Protect IKEA from labour-related risks by applying a consistent approach to managing labour issues nationwide
Identify and monitor internal and external labour issues that may pose risks to IKEA
Lead and follow up on employment standards and compliance in all units
Lead and develop the country's health and wellbeing framework
Contributes to delivering on the People strategy with responsibility for Co-worker experience and engagement, People planning and ED&I
Requirements:
Knowledge of relevant laws for resolving disputes between IKEA and external parties
Understanding of workers' and employers' rights and obligations, and how to mediate among employees, management, unions, and government
Ability to create, implement, and follow up on rules and practices that ensure accountability, compliance, fairness, and transparency
Strong understanding of IKEA's identity, values, and vision
Proven ability to achieve goals and deliver results
Ability to build effective virtual and cross-functional working relationships
Ability to work independently, take initiative, take responsibility, and collaborate well as a team player
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence others
Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources
Minimum 3 years of experience in Co-worker Relations experience from a global matrix organisation and/or participating on global projects
