Job Description

Engineering Co-ordinator will provide Secretarial, Project planning, and administrative support to the Engineering functions and Department within Epson Telford Ltd.

Job Responsibility

  • Administrative and co-ordination management and control of TENS activities
  • Management of department documentation
  • Control and management of Engineering Assets
  • Maintain the day-to-day running of Databases and Spreadsheets and issue relevant reports
  • Raising requisitions for Departments both manual and raising Purchase Orders through SAP
  • Resolve queries given by Departments in a timely and professional manner
  • Co-ordinate Maintenance Schedules and ensure effective communication and timings of such plans to all stakeholders
  • Manage the filing system and ensure all documentation is archived
  • Ensure that all reports are produced correctly
  • Taking minutes in meetings and making sure they are cascaded correctly
  • Ensuring that all documentation is up to date in and around Engineering Departments
  • General Administration duties
  • Project Schedule creation, management and updates
  • Obtaining quotes, obtaining internal approval and raising POs from Suppliers when requested
  • Liase with Suppliers to ensure quick and precise delivery
  • Updating Budget sheets/Cap Ex
  • Engineering system Audits

Requirements

  • IOSH Level 3
  • CIPS Level 3
  • Engineering Level 3
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment
  • Previous Engineering knowledge, environment or exposure
