Job Responsibility:

  • Support in direct material and Capex Sourcing Board preparation, decision documentation, including offline approved decisions tracker
  • Follow up on conditionally approved nominations, missing documentation or request to byers for completion of missing information in the projects (including NDA’s and BOM’s to program link)
  • Support with BorgWarner Sourcing tool users creation, modification, delegations and overall user doubts in Ivalua tool
  • Support with the testing of new solutions within Ivalua tools
  • New User Onboarding process creation support
  • Conflict Minerals process support
  • Support with identifying undefined spend and unknow vendor
  • give support to the team in the new projects development to get a broader vision of the processes, example: Commodity engine project
  • Support in price list indexation standardization project (ACME Tool)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical or Manufacturing/Production Engineering or Polymer Engineering or Material Engineering with a strong commercial or economics background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economic or Business Administration with a strong technical background or similar experience
  • Interest and/or experience in the Automotive Industry (Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality Engineering, Procurement, …)
  • Willingness and/or experience in working cross-functionally in an international corporate environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required
  • Experience with cost calculation and cost breakdowns
  • Fluency in English, additional language is a plus
  • Ability to work self-directed at a fast pace dealing with multiple tasks simultaneously, predisposition to analytical problem solving, and good communication skills
