  • Programming CNC lathes and turn-mill machines
  • Setting, proving out, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components
  • Measuring and inspecting parts to ensure conformity with engineering specifications
  • Monitoring machine performance and diagnosing machining issues
  • Improving programs and methods to increase efficiency and reduce non-conformance
  • Maintaining accurate technical records and documentation
  • Working independently and as part of a close-knit machining team

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-based multi-axis CNC lathes and/or turn-mill machines
  • Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering would be ideal
  • Experience using Mastercam would be ideal but not essential
  • Knowledge of 3-axis CNC machining centres

Nice to have:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering would be ideal
  • Experience using Mastercam would be ideal but not essential
