We operate at the razor-thin margin where raw metal transforms into high-performance technology. In our fast-paced, professional manufacturing hub, you won't just operate machinery—you will command state-of-the-art CNC mills and lathes to sculpt components with absolute geometric perfection. If you want to collaborate with an elite crew that treats workplace safety, flawless quality, and continuous improvement as a daily standard, this bench is yours.
Job Responsibility
Orchestrate Machine Setups: Own the end-to-end setup of complex CNC mills and/or lathes, transforming raw technical data into physical reality
Command Production Workflows: Execute precise machining runs independently, ensuring aggressive production deadlines are met without compromising part integrity
Troubleshoot & Optimize: Diagnose, interpret, and fine-tune CNC programming and machine behaviors on the fly to maximize uptime and efficiency
Validate Component Accuracy: Champion strict quality control standards by interpreting intricate blueprints and work orders to verify parts match exact specifications
Foster a Quality Culture: Collaborate actively with the manufacturing team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold rigorous safety protocols
Maintain safe operations at all times and follow company QHSE standards and practices
Study work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, specifications, and machining parameters
Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances
Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, tool registers, offsets, compensations, and conditional switches
Calculate machining requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting 3-jaw and 4-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers
Load machines by lifting stock into position
Verify settings by measuring first-run parts and sample work pieces
Deburr final machined pieces as needed
Observe machine operations, detect malfunctions, and troubleshoot processes
Complete production and quality logs, including quality forms and daily product sheets
Operate lifting devices such as overhead cranes
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist with preventative maintenance on machinery
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as directed by management
