Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable CNC Laser Operator to join a busy Manufacturing & Logistics team in Brantford. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running laser cutting machines to create high-quality metal parts. Job Responsibility:

  • Run CNC laser machines to cut precision parts
  • Perform setups, nozzle changes, and lens cleaning
  • Load metal sheets onto the machine bed using lifting tools
  • Read blueprints and CAD files to confirm job specs
  • Check part quality using calipers and micrometers
  • Complete basic daily machine maintenance
  • Keep the Manufacturing & Logistics work area safe and clean

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of CNC laser experience
  • Ability to work on-site in Brantford, Ontario
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Experience operating CNC lasers in a Manufacturing & Logistics setting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
  • Comfortable using precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset

  • Handle raw materials and finished parts, ensuring proper labeling and organization
  • Conduct routine part inspections using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.) to verify conformity to specifications
  • Identify and report quality issues or machine malfunctions to supervisors or programmers
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning machines, changing bits, and maintaining a safe and organized work area
  • Assist with unloading, staging, and post-processing of cut parts (e.g., sanding, de-tab, edge prepping)
