Job Description

Are you a skilled and safety-conscious machinist looking for your next big opportunity? Randstad is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise to program, set up, and operate mills and lathes to produce high-quality components. If you thrive on precision, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, we want you on our team! Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Schedule: Continental Shifts (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) Night Shift

Job Responsibility

  • Setup mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three (3) and four (4) jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers, indicating vices, trimming the heads
  • Maintains safe operations at all times and ensure all regulatory and company QHSE standards and practices are adhered to
  • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, specifications, location of surfaces, and machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances
  • Loads machine by lifting stock into position
  • Maintains specifications by observing machine operations, detecting malfunctions and trouble shooting processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of machinist experience, strictly requiring 2-3 years of direct experience with CNC Mill and/or Lathe setup
  • Strong working knowledge of Okuma G-Code and Fanuc Operational systems, alongside a comprehensive understanding of machine tooling
  • 100% proficiency in operating and interpreting precision measuring tools (OD/ID micrometers, height gages, thread wires, etc.) with minimal supervision
  • Must be a team player capable of working punctually in a fast-paced environment
