Job Description:

Prepare and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery. Operates and sets up complex, customized production equipment to manufacture company products. Quality inspection during work processes. Follow quality procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set up and operate all related equipment and hand tools
  • Move all materials, either physically or mechanically, necessary to complete assignments
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
  • Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
  • Produce high quality endmills
  • Perform inspection of finished products to ensure external and internal quality specifications and requirements
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure the functionality
  • Meet production KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

Requirements:

  • Technical abilities are of high importance
  • Proven experience as a CNC operator preferred but working metal experience in other domains will be accepted
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, etc.
  • Computer savvy with a basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
  • System processing experience preferred
  • Willing to work 3 shifts (if needed)
  • Proactive, aggressive, well-organized, and hardworking
  • Ability to operate as a team member
  • Ability to learn the job fast
