Job Description:

Seeking a CNC Miller to strengthen the team. You will work on unique, heavy machine construction projects, responsible for independently setting up and programming our CNC Milling and Turning machines (Siemens/Heidenhain). Variety and technical challenge are guaranteed, as you will be producing unique, non-repetitive pieces. You will join a family-run SME with a strong reputation in waste processing and palm oil extraction machinery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Independently set up, program, and operate our three CNC Turning and Milling machines
  • Perform careful quality checks and finish the pieces, intervening where necessary
  • Provide support with turning tasks as needed, ensuring sufficient variation
  • Jointly manage the machining department with your colleague, reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Proactively contribute ideas for smarter or faster production and collaborate with the engineering team
  • Handle piecework/production
  • avoid endless runs of the same part
  • Ensure all work is highly accurate and precise

Requirements:

  • A passion for metalworking, turning, and milling (machining)
  • Ability to fluently read and interpret technical drawings
  • Highly independent, proactive, and possessing a strong sense of responsibility
  • Committed to the highest quality and finishing, with an eye for precision down to the last tenth of a millimeter
  • Experience with programming CNC machines (Siemens/Heidenhain) is essential
  • Proficiency in Dutch or English is strongy preferred
