We are looking for a CNC Milling Machinist to fully machine complex components and ensure quality and on time delivery.

Job Responsibility:

Fully machine parts as required using 3-axis and 5-axis VMC’s
Ensure quality of parts is to a high standard
Ensure on time delivery
Load offline programs and liaise with production engineer to optimise set up
Save all programs and set up sheets after every job
Assist Shift leaders and engineers with any tooling or material requirements
Safe operations of machines, tools and equipment
Ensure workshop standards are maintained and machines are kept clean at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role with a background working within a small batch / prototype manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Matsuura, DMG or Colchester machines preferable
A working knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
Preferred industry would be Motorsport, Aerospace or research and development
Flexibility, a positive outlook and pro-active approach is essential
Ability to work reliably under pressure to meet deadlines
Well organised and a good communicator
May be required to work extended hours or weekends
