High school education or equivalent
Minimum of three months’ related experience and/or training
Ability to read and understand detailed shop drawings
Ability to perform basic math functions
Good oral/written communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs. frequently
Considerable amounts of standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles
Exposed to temperature fluctuations and a noisy work environment

Job Responsibility

Programs CNC machine to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
Load CAD drawn CNC programs with job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
Observes machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction
Load and unload structural steel from machine with overhead crane
Remove burrs from parts
Clear scrap shavings and debris from machine when required
Package parts for delivery or pick up
Work overtime
Regular, punctual attendance is required
