Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operative with strong turning and milling skills to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Northampton.

Job Responsibility

  • Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision machined components
  • Manufacture parts to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
  • Perform tool changes, adjust offsets and set programs where required
  • Carry out in-process and finished part inspection using precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometers, verniers, gauges)
  • Ensure quality standards are met on every job and report any non-conformances
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the machine area
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to production targets
