CNC Lathe Machinist

• Setup CNC turning centers, verify programs, load tooling and inspect first-off
• Programming
• Read and interpret G-code and make changes to improve efficiency
• Change inserts and adjust machine and tool offsets to achieve dimensional requirements
• Complete in-process and final checks using gauges and measuring equipment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Work independently without supervision
• Flexible working on multiple machines in a high pace environment
• Very strong attention to detail and quality control

• CNC lathe experience - 3+ years preferred in a custom job shop
• Oil & Gas industry experience an asset
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints
• Ability to use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• You take ownership for your work, have critical thinking and has the ability to collaborate with the other team members
• You are adaptable and have a mindset of continuous improvement
• You have experience in a custom shop working with various materials
