Job Description:

Unique Laser is currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individual to join our production team based in Coopers Plains, QLD.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating a CNC Laser cutting machine
  • Ensuring component quality
  • Materials handling
  • Operating a forklift
  • Cleaning of work area and tools
  • Ad hoc tasks as directed by Operations Manager

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Laser / Plasma operator, desirable but not essential
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hold a current Australian forklift licence is essential
  • Well-developed computer skills
  • Be available to work in shift environments
  • Be reliable, honest, and hardworking
  • Work well with others in a team environment
  • Training in the operation of machinery will be provided

Nice to have:

An industry background in engineering, fabrication or laser/plasma cutting would give you good grounding to be successful for this job
