As a CNA-Phlebotomist, you will provide basic nursing care and assist with daily living activities under licensed practitioner direction. Every day you will perform skilled blood collection, maintain an organized work environment for efficient clinical workflow, and encompass holistic patient care. Job Responsibility:
Provide basic nursing care and assist with daily living activities under licensed practitioner direction
Perform skilled blood collection

Contribute to the assessment of the health status of the healthcare consumer
Contribute to the plan of care through observation, data collection and communication of findings to the appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team
Provide basic patient care activities based on the plan of care and as delegated
Contribute to the evaluation of the healthcare consumer by observing responses to interventions and communicating findings to the appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team
Transport, collect, receive and prepare biological specimens for all age groups of patients for analysis using procedures consistent with safe work practices and proper laboratory techniques, while maintaining the integrity of the specimens
Requirements:
High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire

Must have successfully completed the 75-hour state approved course for Nursing Assistant if hired into the Nursing Assistant position after April 30, 1998., upon hire
Certified Nursing Assistant: NE, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
