Located along scenic waterfront property in Brooklyn, NY, our Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care have earned a reputation for providing quality and compassionate care delivered through programs and services that support individuals needing short-stay or long term inpatient care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform routine and basic job duties related to direct and indirect care of residents and patients in long-term care and sub-acute care units
  • take and record vital signs

  • transferring patients/residents
  • maintain patient and resident areas in a clean and neat fashion
  • orient residents/patients to their environment
  • interact with residents/patients, family members, staff and others in a positive and respectful manner

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • NYS Certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • good oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to speak, read and write English well enough to communicate with staff, patients/residents and visitors
