As a CNA/Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you will be a central figure on our patient care team, providing direct, compassionate, hands-on support to patients and assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and a supportive healing environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice of a nursing assistant
Vital signs
Ambulation
ADLs
routine treatment procedures as defined by hospital policies/procedures/routines
Reports all observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patient's condition to the licensed nurse
Documents patient care measures according to patient care standards, policies, and procedures
Assists in and accompanies patients in the admission, transfer, transport, and discharge procedures
Appropriately utilizes equipment and supplies in the care of the patient
Requirements:
High School Graduate / GED required
California Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA License) required
Basic Life Support Cert (AHA BLS Cert) required
Nice to have:
At least one (1) year of acute care or long-term experience
