Job Description:

As a CNA/Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you will be a central figure on our patient care team, providing direct, compassionate, hands-on support to patients and assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and a supportive healing environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice of a nursing assistant
  • Vital signs
  • Ambulation
  • ADLs
  • routine treatment procedures as defined by hospital policies/procedures/routines
  • Reports all observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patient's condition to the licensed nurse
  • Documents patient care measures according to patient care standards, policies, and procedures
  • Assists in and accompanies patients in the admission, transfer, transport, and discharge procedures
  • Appropriately utilizes equipment and supplies in the care of the patient

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate / GED required
  • California Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA License) required
  • Basic Life Support Cert (AHA BLS Cert) required

Nice to have:

At least one (1) year of acute care or long-term experience
