As a CNA/Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you will be a central figure on our patient care team, providing direct, compassionate, hands-on support to patients and assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and a supportive healing environment. Every day, you will expertly perform basic patient care duties like taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, monitoring and documenting patient intake/output, and collecting specimens. You will also maintain patient rooms, transport patients and equipment, and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff, adhering strictly to safety protocols and infection control. To be successful in this role, you will combine a strong empathetic approach, meticulous attention to detail in clinical tasks, and excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork. You will demonstrate a proactive commitment to patient well-being, a supportive demeanor, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment, delivering compassionate care.
Job Responsibility:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice of a nursing assistant

Routine treatment procedures as defined by hospital policy/procedure/routines
Report all observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patient's condition to the licensed nurse
Document patient care measures according to patient care standards, policies, and procedures
Assist in and accompany patients in the admission, transfer, transport, and discharge procedures
Appropriately utilize equipment and supplies in the care of the patient
Requirements:
High School Graduate / GED required
California Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA License) required
Basic Life Support Cert (AHA BLS Cert) required
at least one (1) year of acute care or long-term experience
