Successful completion of an approved Commonwealth of Massachusetts CNA/Home Health Aide training program
Current certificate presented upon hire
Current CPR Certification preferred
Exhibits maturity, flexibility and ability to plan and organize activities
Current TB Test result presented upon hire and yearly
Completed 15 hours of training related to HHA responsibilities and Mass Council's curriculum
Current, valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto/vehicle insurance
Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Job Responsibility

Ambulate clients and use safe transfers and techniques including Hoyer lift
Toilet assistance and empty commodes
Medication cueing and reminders
Assist/perform client grooming (filing nails permitted)
Perform activities that support skilled therapies as instructed
Provide adequate nutrition and fluid intake
