Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant performs basic restorative services and basic nursing services which are directed at the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, basic mental health of patients and the protection of patients and the protection of patient rights. The CNA assigned to the Float Pool are required to perform these functions on any unit and any campus as needed. All CNA s' practice within the scope and standards of practice set forth by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
6 months clinical experience in an acute facility
Graduate from a fully accredited CNA Program
Knowledge of medical terminology
CT NA = Certified Nursing Assistant license from Nevada State Nursing Board
CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA
quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire
Nice to have:
1 (one) year clinical experience as a CNA
