CNA ER ICU

• Provide essential direct patient care including assisting with ADLs, personal care, feeding, and comfort measures, ensuring patient dignity and well-being
• Monitor and document vital signs and other patient data (e.g., intake/output, weight), promptly reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff
• Assist with patient mobility and transport, safely transferring and ambulating patients, and preparing them for examinations, procedures, and discharge
• Support clinical procedures under RN direction, including basic wound care, specimen collection, and assisting with application of medical devices
• Maintain an organized and safe Emergency Department environment, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring unit readiness
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, communicating patient needs, supporting rapid patient flow, and adhering to all safety and hospital policies

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant from the state of Minnesota
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) to be obtained within 30 Days
