Job Description:

Programming and Operating Coordinate Measuring Machines to ensure best quality products and services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop CMM programs based on job line-up
  • Measure and adjust checking fixtures and gauges to meet final tolerance specifications
  • Perform overall functionality and appearance quality checks
  • Develop certification and measurement reports
  • Perform gauge R&R’s as well as part layouts
  • Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Verify and maintain equipment accuracy as well as work area cleanliness and order
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of PC-DMIS and SolidWorks software an asset
  • Relevant experience with automotive checking fixtures
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret part prints, product specifications, and GD&T
  • Efficient planning and execution of tasks
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Strong Mechanical background is considered an asset
  • Minimum High School diploma
  • Technical School Graduate or equivalent experience in a related manufacturing environment
