Job Responsibility:

  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using PC-DMIS (2019 onwards)
  • Plan and perform annual internal and external re-qualification measurements to support the product testing plan
  • Conduct CMM measurements for PSW submissions, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and project timelines
  • Support the Goods Inwards Testing Plan by performing measurements and recording results in SAP
  • Carry out internal PPAP measurement according to specifications and timing schedules
  • Provide accurate measurement data to support problem resolution and statistical analysis
  • Communicate with technical personnel from customers and suppliers as needed
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health & safety, quality, environmental standards, and ethics
  • Complete additional tasks as required to support quality and production targets

Requirements:

  • HNC or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in a metrology or quality engineering role
  • Proven expertise in CMM programming and operation, particularly using PC-DMIS is a must
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Familiar with statistical methods and skilled in preparing detailed measurement reports
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and FMEA
  • Comfortable using basic measurement equipment and working with SAP modules for Goods Receiving and Vendor Management
  • PC literate, with good command of Microsoft Office tools
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset
