Job Description:

The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Risk and Finance applications used by worldwide users covering Market Risk, Counterparty Risk, Finance and Capital Markets domains. In a challenging and multicultural environment, the candidate will join a dynamic team of experts to support and enhance the bank’s transaction reporting capabilities across all jurisdictions (SFTR, CFTC, MIFID, HKMA, JSFA, EMIR, etc…) He/She will be the subject matter expert in transaction reporting, having already a wide understanding of regulation challenges, keeping a watch on the upcoming one and being able to translate the requirement into an efficient and reliable functional solution. A solid understanding of the whole trade life cycle across sales, front office, back office and middle office are key to address theses challenges.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead workshop with business lines contacts for clarification and understanding of requirements
  • Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints with technical lead’s help
  • Prepare and present functional aspects of changes/evolutions to developers
  • Support the technical development team in any functional aspects
  • Organize and keep up to date detailed functional documentation
  • Develop tests strategy in coordination with project manager / Business Analysts
  • Conduct continuous testing in development environment for development monitoring
  • Support and coordinate the User Acceptance Test
  • Analyze and/or solve functional problems in coordination with developers

Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of experience as a business analyst in a financial organization
  • Exposure to the Capital Markets system Summit as a preference or similar such as Murex, Calypso, Sophis, Front Arena, Kondor, Opics...
  • Experience in Financial IRD products and Capital Market Back-Office environments with a focus on Settlement, Accounting, Regulatory, Reconciliation…
  • Thorough experience in functional testing and validation of development
  • Hands-on technical experience to be comfortable with Linux, scripting, data models and SQL
  • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
  • degree in relevant specialities
  • Level of minimal experience: 6-10 years

Nice to have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both team mates and management
  • Ability to convey clearly and concisely ideas in a concrete and coherent way
  • Ability to easily communicate with multi-cultural team members
  • Experience in Back Office system (Summit, Calypso) or Front-Office or Market Risk
  • Usage of tools such as MS Office / Sharepoint /Project / Visio, Jira, GIT
  • Understanding of UML
