The role involves managing revenue and reservations strategies across two iconic hotels in Edinburgh, driving occupancy, revenue, and exceptional guest booking experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement strategic pricing and inventory management across distribution channels
Utilise Marriott’s revenue management systems for forecasting and optimization
Lead revenue strategy meetings and provide recommendations based on market trends
Monitor competitor activity and market conditions for strategy adjustments
Oversee the reservations department operations, ensuring accuracy and service excellence
Train and develop the reservations team to meet performance targets
Collaborate with Marriott’s revenue and distribution teams for global strategy alignment
Identify innovative revenue opportunities and implement them
Manage budgets ensuring strategic investment for maximum impact.
Requirements:
Experience in revenue management, reservations, or a commercial role within hospitality
Strong ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and make informed decisions
Experience using revenue management systems, PMS platforms, and distribution channels
Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
Thrive in a team, working with multiple stakeholders, including brand, sales, and operations teams
Strong written and verbal abilities to present ideas and strategies clearly
A proactive approach to finding new revenue opportunities and improving processes.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Marriott International revenue management systems, property management systems (PMS), and other hotel technology platforms
