Job Description:

We currently have an opportunity for a talented Cluster Reservations Agent to join our iconic Four Seasons Hotel Milan and San Domenico Palace, Taormina, a Four Seasons hotel in Italy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Display friendly, courteous and professional manner
  • Handle privately registered guests
  • Determine guest accommodation needs
  • Utilize Guest Recognition Program
  • Prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Be attentive to guests needs
  • Handle telephone calls and faxes
  • Provide general information to callers
  • Adhere to telephone etiquette
  • Process and update room reservations
  • Handle guest problems or complaints
  • Perform pre-arrival checks
  • Prepare internal memos
  • Handle Chat system
  • Handle technical systems
  • Deal with Travel Agencies
  • Support Sales & Events team
  • Run operation manually when system crashes

Requirements:

  • Hotel operations
  • English language
  • Any Property Management System (e.g. Opera)
  • Superior communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Legal right to work in Italy

  • Previous experience in a Reservations Agent role in a 4 or 5 star hotel
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactively seek to generate incremental revenue via upselling, promoting hotel F&B Venues and other hotel services and amenities
  • Fluent in selling room packages and higher room type
  • Close communication with other hotel departments to ensure every guest has a smooth arrival experience
  • To share any special guest information, preferences and instructions within the Reservations Team as well as with other departments
  • Assist reservation manager in inventory control by balancing inventory and managing overbooking
  • Able to handle room block monitoring, rooming lists, reporting pick up, VIP and upgraded accommodations
