We currently have an opportunity for a talented Cluster Reservations Agent to join our iconic Four Seasons Hotel Milan and San Domenico Palace, Taormina, a Four Seasons hotel in Italy!
Job Responsibility:
Display a friendly courteous and professional manner
Have knowledge of general hotel information for Four Seasons Hotel Milano and Four Seasons Hotel Taormina
Handle privately registered guests and understand guest/staff confidentiality
Determine what a potential guest is looking for in room accommodations and participate in problem solving
Utilize the Guest Recognition Program
Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate manager
Prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Be attentive to guests needs and provide exceptional service
Exhibit a sense of professionalism
Be proactive in seeking to acquire knowledge
Keep an organized and clean workspace
Know and apply the Core and Culture Service Standards
Remain calm and attentive
Know and execute fire, emergency, evacuation and bomb threat procedures
Take all necessary reports at AM & PM shifts
Operate the console for wake-up, guest message, DND requests
Handle several telephone calls
Handle incoming faxes and telephone functions
Provide general information and inquiries
Adhere telephone etiquette standards
Play an active role in the Guest Satisfaction field
Utilize computer systems in retrieving and updating room reservations
Process internal reservations, reservations from CRO, employee requests, e-mails and faxes
Complete room reservations
Handle enquiries for other Four Seasons properties
Upload WRO and follow new procedures
Handle guest problems or complaints
Perform pre-arrival checks
Prepare internal memos
Enter and follow-up Glitch updates
Handle the Chat system
Handle several technical systems (Fusion, Key, Golden, Workday, Microsoft platform)
Deal with Travel Agencies
Understand allocations and coordinate with Front of the House Team
Keep support departments informed
Perform tasks as delegated
Support Sales & Events team
Answer the telephone professionally
Handle phone related problems
Attend Department meetings
Run the operation manually when system crashes
Be proactive in offering to work additional shifts
Requirements:
Hotel operations
English language
Any Property Management System (e.g. Opera)
Superior communication skills
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills
Be a team player
Legal right to work in Italy
Fluency in English and Italian
