Job Responsibility:
Lead the daily operations of the club – from member experience to safety, staffing and cleanliness
Take ownership of your club’s commercial performance, including budget and KPI management
Drive local sales and marketing efforts to grow the member base
Recruit, train, and develop a strong and motivated team — from personal trainers to front desk staff and cleaners
Create a positive and professional team environment that drives engagement and performance
Be the go-to person for both members and your team — you set the tone and lead by example
Act as the local face of TrainMore and ensure brand standards are met at all times
Collaborate with HQ and regional stakeholders to align on goals, strategy and performance
Demonstrate proactive thinking and coach your team to do the same
Understand how to control costs without compromising on quality — and can give examples of how you’d do this in a club environment
Celebrate achievements and know what it takes to consistently meet and exceed targets and KPIs such as member growth, retention and NPS
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales with a strong track record of hitting and exceeding KPIs
A background in hospitality or other customer-facing environments with a service-first mindset
Excellent communication skills — confident when engaging with both teams and stakeholders
A hands-on, proactive attitude and a natural leadership style
A track record of building strong, high-performing teams
Results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
A personal passion for fitness, health or sport — and you lead by example
Stakeholder management experience
Experience in the fitness or leisure industry is a plus, but not essential
