Job Description:

Lead the day-to-day Club Lounge service, delivering a welcoming, professional food and beverage experience within a vibrant members’ environment. Wellington Health & Fitness Club is a premium leisure and wellbeing facility serving members, pupils, staff and visitors across a busy and varied programme of activity. Situated on the edge of the Wellington College estate, the Health & Fitness Club provides a welcoming setting for members and staff. We are seeking a Club Lounge Lead to support the smooth day-to-day operation of our licensed Club Lounge, ensuring consistently high standards of service, presentation and atmosphere. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering a positive member experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the day-to-day Club Lounge service
  • deliver a welcoming, professional food and beverage experience
  • support smooth day-to-day operation of licensed Club Lounge
  • ensure consistently high standards of service, presentation and atmosphere
  • act as senior person on duty during allocated shifts
  • support opening and closing procedures
  • operate tills and handle cash
  • assist with stock control and routine equipment checks
  • work confidently within established procedures
  • address routine operational issues and escalate concerns

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer-facing food and beverage, hospitality or leisure setting
  • clear understanding of good customer service and service standards
  • calm, organised and adaptable
