Job Description

Become the Engine Behind Manchester’s New Industrial Powerhouse. The Club & Events Manager will lead the charge at this multi-level playground for live shows, rave culture, visual storytelling, and immersive events.

Job Responsibility

  • Be the frontline force, guiding the team through each event with clarity and confidence

  • Keep the system running smoothly, owning policies, procedures, compliance, safety

  • Drive the business forward, taking charge of numbers, budgets, forecasting, cost control, stock, rotas
  • Grow the membership & community network, championing IDRA's offering, helping shape marketing and event strategies
  • Own the space, ensuring the venue stays clean, safe, and mechanically sound

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading large teams successfully
  • Experience in high-volume venues that host high-volume events, nightlife, hospitality, or late-night environments
  • Obsessed with delivering standout moments and making people feel seen and valued
  • Communicates with clarity, positivity, and calm, even under pressure
  • Confident with financials: budgets, cost control, stock, and operational metrics
  • Understands health, safety, and compliance in large-scale or late-night settings

  • Serve as primary contact for evening and weekend event operations
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of conference center events including corporate, social, and non-profit events, and internal meetings
  • Conduct client meet and greet prior to event as well as post event follow up as directed
  • Maintain vendor relationships, agreements and certificates of insurance
  • Assist clients with onsite event coordination including, but not limited to catering, hotel accommodations, decorations, etc.
  • Coordinate labor for events including janitorial and security and loading dock schedule
  • Be knowledgeable of the conference center audio visual equipment and its operation as well as maintain and secure equipment
  • Keep up to date status of all contracts for events, preferred vendors, non-preferred vendors, etc.
  • Distributes inner office memos as directed
  • Coordinates appropriate labor for all events and as directed
