Job Description

Broster Buchanan are partnered with a global leader in the healthcare industry who are in the early stages of a global cloud transformation programme, aiming to reduce technical debt, migrate on premise applications to Azure Cloud, and transition away from Cloud as a fragmented in country model to a centralised global model. They are looking for a Cloud Transformation Program Manager with experience delivering in fast moving environments to manage this program.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and execute a digital transformation that includes the cloud migration and technical debt reduction strategy aligned to business outcomes (stability, performance, compliance, cost, and delivery speed)
  • Develop and own the cloud migration roadmap, including data centre exit plans, workload prioritisation, and dependency mapping
  • Responsible for tracking progress and the commercial benefits across the project, and will work with all functional areas to provide leadership on budgeting, controls, reporting, resources etc.
  • Lead the Project and oversee all workstreams, working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, agents, and regulatory bodies
  • Lead cross functional teams to achieve technical debt remediation (refactors, framework upgrades, test coverage uplift, observability) and drive cloud migration initiatives (compute, storage, networking, security hardening, application replatforming)
  • Manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and meet financial objectives
  • Optimise performance of the project by identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Ensure business readiness and change management is defined, planned, agreed and activated
  • Lead active risk and issues management, ensuring that risks and issues are owned, actioned and escalated as required
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management teams, partners, investors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparent and effective communication

Requirements

  • Significant experience in program management, with the ability to be the individual ultimately responsible for managing and delivering complex international programs with tight deadlines
  • Must have experience delivering significant cloud transformation programs, ideally covering application migration and transitioning local cloud services into a global model
  • Must have very strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with the ability to work with C Suite level stakeholders and manage a very complex vendor landscape
  • Must have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-disciplinary transformation projects from inception through to delivery, ideally in a regulatory environment
