The Cloud Technical Architect (AWS) role involves leading cloud architecture and modernization projects, focusing on AWS solutions. Candidates should have strong experience in software engineering, DevOps, and data platforms. The position requires expertise in AWS services, Terraform, and CI/CD practices. Job Responsibility:
Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS across compute, networking, storage, and security
Lead end-to-end cloud migration and modernization projects — from current-state assessment to production delivery
Define infrastructure standards using Terraform, GitOps methodologies and etc.
Conduct architecture reviews, Well-Architected assessments, and FinOps optimization sessions
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar tooling
Design internal developer platforms that improve engineering velocity and reduce cognitive overhead
Implement observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry) for production systems
Advise clients on SRE practices, incident management, and platform reliability
Architect modern data platforms on AWS — data lakes, lakehouses, streaming pipelines, and analytics layers
Design and implement data infrastructure using services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, or MSK
Define data governance, cataloguing, and quality frameworks for enterprise clients
Bridge the gap between data engineering and cloud infrastructure — ensuring platforms are scalable, cost-efficient, and production-ready
Identify practical opportunities to apply GenAI and LLM tools within client engineering workflows
Prototype and implement AI-assisted tooling — code review agents, documentation generators, incident responders, or data query assistants
Advise on AWS AI/ML services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Kendra, Q Developer, and related tooling
Build internal knowledge and best practices around responsible and effective use of AI in cloud consulting
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
Strong AWS proficiency — EKS, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, and related services
