In Microsoft, Small Medium Enterprise & Channel (SME&C) team, we are looking for people with a passion for delivering customer success. As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations reporting to the Cloud Solution Architect Manager you will enable SMC (Small, Medium, and Corporate) customers & Partners to achieve their business outcomes, based on their investments in Microsoft technologies. Leveraging your leading technical team’s expertise, you will drive the team to ensure customers get value from their Microsoft investments.

Develop and expand existing impactful relationships with stakeholders

Participate in external architect community events and share learnings with the internal team
Lead architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that result in production deployment application and increase customer usage/Azure Consumed Revenue
Drive delivery execution through preparedness, precision delivery, overall utilization, and high customer satisfaction in a cost-efficient manner
Drive positive Customer Satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor to customers and partners, by leveraging Dynamics 365 expertise to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes
Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant MS teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement
Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by providing expertise/guidance to technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft's Business Applications value proposition and get value from their investment in Microsoft technology via solution optimization, operational excellence and performance efficiency
Provide direction to Technical Decision Makers (TDMs) and build the bridge between TDMs and Business Decision Makers (BDMs)
Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging technical subject matter expertise
Lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments
Deliver all work according to MS best practices & policies and using repeatable IP
Leverage knowledge of the products, services, and value propositions of Microsoft Business Applications in customer/partner conversations to identify growth opportunities based on knowledge of customer/partner needs
Demonstrate Self Learner mindset through continuous alignment of individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals
Engage in relevant communities to share expertise, contribute to IP creation, prioritize IP re-sure and learn from others to help accelerate your customers transformation journey
Partner with other Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs), Customer Success Account Managers (CSAMs), and Product Groups to drive unified delivery and technical excellence
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in Finance & Operations ERP implementation as technical expert for 10 years or more
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in Finance & Operations ERP implementation as technical expert for at least 7 years or more
Native Japanese skill with highest proficiency + English skill for internal communication is a mandatory requirement
Strong Deep Technical Implementation expertise on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O, including development experience in X++ across at least two modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Project Operations
Experience in conducting code reviews & performance tuning
Proven ability in debugging and performance troubleshooting, including use of Trace Parser
Solid understanding of performance patterns and anti-patterns
Basic level of functional Knowledge of Dynamics 365 ERP Family
Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
Strong grasp of Microsoft Azure cloud computing fundamentals
Knowledge of how Dynamics 365 F&O interacts with Azure components
Familiarity with integration patterns and anti-patterns across Business Applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Lifecycle Services for environment setup and troubleshooting
Ability to set up and execute the Regression Suite Automation Tool
Ability to Architect Cross-Platform Integration of D365 F&O with different systems
Basic understanding of integration between Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Supply Chain platforms
Proven track record in Dynamics AX engineering, architecture, or similar roles
Extensive experience in the technical and functional aspects of Dynamics F&O/AX
Strong proficiency in X++ development, including customisation and extension of Dynamics F&O/AX functionalities
Demonstrated expertise in implementations and the management of ERP software, including integration with third-party systems
D365 F&O or AX technical and functional certifications
Experience with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain Management
In-depth proficiency in Dynamics AX, encompassing both technical and functional aspects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions
Experience in system integration and interfacing with third-party systems
Understanding of ERP system architecture and best practices
Experience with version control systems and development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub)
Proficiency in documenting technical designs and system configurations
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
Understanding of cloud technologies and their implications for ERP systems
F&O/AX setup and configuration experience
Knowledge about integration between Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Platform (D365 For Sales / Power Platform) and Finance and Supply Chain Platform
Knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate / Flow and Power Platform Administration
Nice to have:
Familiarity with AI-enhanced ERP capabilities such as Copilot in Finance, Demand Planning in SCM, and AI-driven forecasting and planning tools
