We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect with a strong technical background across Dynamics F&O cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, optimization, and stabilization of Dynamics F&O deployments, working closely with customers to drive measurable business value.

  • Accelerate usage, value realization, and ROI of Microsoft Business Applications by advising technical and business decision-makers on architecture, implementation best practices, operational excellence, and performance efficiency spanning both on‑prem and cloud‑connected deployments
  • Identify and resolve blockers preventing go‑live, scale, or adoption by applying deep technical knowledge of Dynamics F&O, integrations, performance tuning, and data migration
  • Deliver all engagements using Microsoft‑recommended methods and repeatable IP
  • Identify growth opportunities by understanding customer needs, business models, and workloads, and positioning relevant Microsoft Business Applications capabilities, including Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and modernization pathways from on‑prem to cloud
  • Demonstrate a growth-mindset by continuously strengthening your technical depth in Dynamics 365 F&O, on‑prem infrastructure, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and related tooling to meet evolving customer and regional needs

Requirements:

  • Expert hands-on experience implementing, customizing, optimizing, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), with strong exposure to on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud-based deployments
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations architecture, including application layers, data models, extensibility framework, and overall environment topology
  • Proven experience leading Dynamics F&O migration and modernization initiatives, including upgrades from legacy Dynamics AX and transitions to cloud‑first architectures
  • Deep expertise in performance troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers
  • Practical experience with ERP system administration and operational best practices for F&O environments, including monitoring, capacity planning, and production readiness
  • Demonstrated capability to perform end‑to‑end environment health assessments and performance audits, and to design and execute remediation and optimization plans, particularly for on‑premises and hybrid F&O environments
  • Strong experience designing, building, and troubleshooting integrations for Dynamics F&O, leveraging: Data Management Framework (DMF), Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, APIs and other enterprise interfacing techniques
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 F&O development and customization, including: X++, Visual Studio, .NET Framework, Extension‑based development best practices
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including the use of Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for implementation, maintenance, and release management
  • Experience with version control and development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub) and working knowledge of CI/CD practices in enterprise ERP environments
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance, and access control requirements in ERP systems
  • Proficiency in documenting technical designs, system configurations, and operational procedures
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively
  • Good understanding of Azure cloud technologies and their implications for ERP scalability, security, performance, and operations
  • Proven experience acting as Technical Architect / Lead Engineer for full lifecycle Dynamics 365 F&O programs, including design, build, test, deploy, and stabilization phases
  • Strong capability to design enterprise‑grade, scalable, and secure F&O implementations aligned with customer and business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead deep technical discussions with customers, partners, and engineering teams covering architecture, integrations, data, security, and performance
  • Skilled in delivering technical workshops, training sessions, and hands‑on guidance to customer IT and development teams
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting complex production issues in enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O environments
  • Strong focus on operational stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of live ERP systems
  • English: Fluent (reading, writing, and speaking) — mandatory
  • Swedish is strongly recommended as the primary working language for customer engagements in the Nordic market
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills — able to confidently engage with customers, translate complex technical topics into clear guidance, and build strong, trust‑based relationships
  • Strong project management capability — able to lead customer conversations, drive clarity in scope and timeline, coordinate with stakeholders, and guide the customer’s project toward successful delivery
  • Strong collaboration skill with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is mandatory for this role
  • The successful candidate must have, or be able to obtain, a security certificate entitling access to classified information at the following levels or higher: “SECRET, NATO SECRET, SECRET UE / EU SECRET”
  • Ideally, the candidate holds Swedish citizenship, as it significantly supports eligibility and processing for required Nordic security clearances
  • This role also requires onsite support, and the frequency of onsite presence will depend on customer needs, including critical project phases, escalations, workshops, or deployments
  • Flexibility to travel within the Nordic region is expected

Nice to have:

  • Certification or formal training in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including administration, development, or solution architecture
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), including solution architecture, customization concepts, integration patterns, and functional understanding across core CE workloads such as Sales and Customer Service
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services and an understanding of how Azure capabilities support, extend, and integrate with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Broader Dynamics 365 ecosystem awareness, with the ability to understand how CE, Dynamics AX, and F&O interact across hybrid, upgrade, and migration scenarios, including data flow and integration dependencies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, including AX architecture, module structure, and data model fundamentals, with the ability to support, troubleshoot, or collaborate effectively with AX‑focused engineering teams
  • Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) exposure, including familiarity with inventory, procurement, master planning, or production processes
  • Warehouse Management (WMS) functional and/or technical knowledge, including WHS configuration, mobile device workflows, location directives, work templates, and advanced warehouse operations
  • Experience with data migration and data transformation projects, particularly in ERP modernization or platform transition initiatives
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools, such as Power BI, and their use in ERP reporting and operational insights
  • Exposure to non‑Microsoft ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and the ability to understand and compare enterprise ERP architectures is considered a plus
