Job Description:

The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems. Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions. Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements. The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, scalable applications using Java or Python
  • Build and maintain real-time Kafka Streaming Applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Work with SQL, NoSQL, or GraphDB(anyone DB) to efficiently store and retrieve data
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and work with Docker and other cloud development tools
  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalable application deployment
  • Work on projects involving Machine Learning (ML), AI, or Generative AI (GenAI) will be an added advantage
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and participate in code reviews and best practices

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Java and Python
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka Streaming Application development
  • Expertise in at least one database: SQL, NoSQL, or GraphDB
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and cloud development tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
