We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Middletown, Pennsylvania. In this contract-to-permanent position, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibility:
Design and implement secure cloud architectures that align with the organization's information security framework and comply with regulatory standards
Monitor and manage identity and access controls for cloud environments, reviewing user privileges and authentication processes
Develop and enforce procedures to protect physical assets, applications, and databases from unauthorized access, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information
Identify potential security threats, investigate incidents, and recommend actionable solutions to mitigate risks effectively
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of business continuity plans for cloud environments, integrating them into broader organizational programs
Conduct network vulnerability assessments and prepare reports for leadership, including the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee
Collaborate with regulatory bodies, auditors, and third-party reviewers to address findings and ensure timely resolutions
Participate in corporate-wide security assessments and provide detailed risk mitigation information to relevant committees
Deliver training and promote awareness of security protocols among internal staff and stakeholders
Establish and maintain partnerships with third-party security vendors to enhance the organization's security posture
Requirements:
Proven expertise in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in cloud environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Azure platforms
Strong understanding of identity and access management principles
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements within the financial services industry
Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and security risk evaluations
Effective communication skills for training and collaboration with diverse teams
Experience in developing business continuity and incident response plans
Knowledge of security tools and technologies for monitoring and protecting organizational assets
